Practice Philosophy

Healing, as we understand it, does not happen in the mind alone. The body carries what the mind cannot always articulate; relationships shape what no amount of individual reflection can fully reach.

We draw from person-centered methodology, Gottman research, EMDR, somatic awareness, and yogic principles as a coherent framework informing the architecture of psychological evolution.

No two presentations are met with the same formula. Each is approached with genuine curiosity and close attention to the particular texture of a person's experience.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance? +
Clarity Therapy is a private-pay practice and does not bill insurance directly. However, a detailed superbill is provided after each session, which you can submit to your insurance carrier for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Many clients find this covers a meaningful portion of their fees.
What happens in the first session? +
The first session is a chance for us to meet, for you to share what's bringing you in, and for us to begin understanding your goals and history. It's also an opportunity for you to get a feel for our approach and ask any questions. There's no pressure; it's a conversation, not an assessment.
How long does therapy typically take? +
It depends on what you're working on. Some clients find significant relief in 8–12 sessions focused on a specific issue; others engage in longer-term work for deeper patterns, relational dynamics, or ongoing support. We'll discuss realistic expectations based on your goals at the outset.
Do you offer a sliding scale or reduced fees? +
A limited number of reduced-fee spots are available for clients facing financial hardship. Please reach out directly to discuss what's possible. We believe cost should not be the sole barrier to care.
Is teletherapy as effective as in-person therapy? +
Research consistently shows that teletherapy produces outcomes equivalent to in-person therapy for most presenting concerns. Sessions are conducted via a HIPAA-compliant platform. For clients outside the Las Vegas area, or those who prefer the convenience, it's a fully effective option.
I'm not sure therapy is right for me. What should I do? +
That uncertainty is completely normal. We offer a brief initial consultation to answer your questions, explore whether our approach is a good fit, and give you a sense of what working together might look like, with no obligation to continue.
