SERVICES

Couples Therapy

Couples therapy is central to Clarity Therapy’s clinical work. Our approach is grounded in research-based models of relational health and change, integrating humanistic, experiential, and systemic frameworks. Couples engage in structured interventions designed to enhance communication, resolve conflict, and support informed decisions about the future of the relationship, whether in strengthening bonds or pursuing a respectful separation.

Individual Therapy

Individual psychotherapy at Clarity is research-informed and tailored to each client’s needs. Drawing from integrative methods—including psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and somatic approaches—sessions focus on identifying patterns, building resilience, and facilitating adaptive strategies for both immediate concerns and long-term development.

Family Therapy

Family therapy is informed by systemic and evidence-based approaches that understand the family as an interdependent unit. Interventions focus on patterns of interaction, structural dynamics, and the enhancement of communication across generations, with the goal of improving overall relational functioning and supporting the development of each member.

Yoga Therapy

Yoga therapy is offered as a complementary, evidence-supported modality that integrates somatic practices with psychotherapy. Techniques such as breath regulation, guided movement, and meditation are used to regulate the nervous system, improve self-awareness, and support trauma-informed care in alignment with current research on mind–body integration.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an extensively researched, evidence-based treatment for trauma and adverse life experiences. EMDR therapy facilitates adaptive reprocessing of distressing memories, reducing symptoms of post-traumatic stress and enhancing overall psychological integration.

Michele Reeves, Ph.D.

Specialized in Couples Counseling

I integrate a holistic perspective into my therapeutic practice, drawing primarily on Virginia Satir’s humanistic approach. This orientation emphasizes authentic connection, self-awareness, and the inherent potential for growth within each person. I also incorporate person-centered and yogic practices to support a deeper mind–body connection. As a Ph.D. specializing in couples counseling, I focus on fostering social connection and authentic, person-based interaction. My therapeutic work is enriched by elements of Gestalt and Jungian orientations, all grounded in a deeply humanistic and person-centered framework.
